It’s that time again.. Time to look at what I’ve received in my Glossy Box this fine November month!

20131113-190748.jpg
Vichy Trio (Idéalia and Idéalia Life Serum)
Having received a sample of this before, I knew what to expect from this cream! The scent is lovely but really overpowering and definitely not for those of us with sensitive skin! However, I do like the serum which is of course, thinner in consistency and slightly easier to wear.. I didn’t notice any differences in my skin from using this though.

20131113-191159.jpg
Scholl Dry Skin Exfoliator
This seems really good and I was so happy it came in a full size! It’s quite gritty but isn’t sharp and leaves skin feeling soft! I think this would be great on any dry skin areas such as elbows or knees too!

20131113-191207.jpg
Elegant Touch Rapid Dry For Nails
I have never tried anything like this before so I’m excited to give it a go. The idea is that you spray this on tower nails and it makes your nails dry in 60 seconds! And again.. Full size!

20131113-191217.jpg
Yves Rocher Elegant Touch Cacao Orange and Chocolate Hand Cream
Ok, let’s not go any further without mentioning the fact that this smells like Terry’s chocolate orange flavour! I tried this as soon as I could and I wanted to eat my own hands after trying it! It smelt truly incredible! It’s not greasy feeling and absorbs almost immediately! This full size went straight in my handbag!

20131113-191225.jpg
Emite Micronized Eyeshadow in Dams
The last full size product and it’s the strangest eyeshadow ever! This cruelty and bad-chemical free eyeshadow is like suede to the touch! It’s a matte black colour with no fallout! The pigmentation isn’t great, but the eyeshadow blends beautifully and creates a really nice hazey looking smokey eye!

October GlossyBox

20131025-173035.jpg

This months GlossyBox arrived and I was mega excited to see what Autumn/ Fall products they would have inside!

20131025-173053.jpg

20131025-173103.jpg

20131025-173241.jpg
MeMeMe Cherubs Lip and Cheek Tint £5.50 12ml
This cheek tint is something have tried before but finished t and never repurchased! I’m a bit fan if cheek tints because powders and creams don’t last all that well on my face so to have something like a stain is perfect for me! This is lovely and lightweight, it’s also super-blend able and looks natural on the cheeks! As well as the nice and light price tag, it’s a steal and I’m so glad that my GlossyBox had a full size bottle! Woo!

20131025-173256.jpg
Vita Liberata Latte Illuminating Skin Finish £29.95 30ml
When I first saw this, I was sceptical because I hate sachets and packet samples of products! But after trying this yesterday, I can co item, I’m tempted to buy this for summer! I was confused at first as to what it was but it’s like a glowy fake tan with coverage! Imagine applying a darker foundation with shimmer in it, on your skin.. And you have this! It’s lightweight and mousse like which gives the skin an airbrushed finish! I love fake tanning so this is perfect! Probably not the best product for the colder months though, GlossyBox! I think I would have preferred this in summer!

20131025-173305.jpg
Premae Multi- Vit Smoothing Serum £22.50 50ml
When I had received the Harmony balm a few months ago, I had fallen in love with the stuff and was really tempted to buy the full size were it not for the hefty price! So I was glad to see another product from their line! This product claims to be a moisturising serum which doesn’t let you get oily! I out it to the ultimate test of wearing it at night after I’d cleansed (needed the moisture) and when I get the most oily! I woke up to my skin feeling soft and not as oily! It didn’t work miracles but it’s so nice and lightweight on the skin! Perhaps another product I’d have preferred in summer?

20131025-173447.jpg

MONU Illuminating Primer £24.95 50ml
When it comes to MONU products, I love them! Every time I’ve received something in my GlossyBox which is branded MONU, I’ve taken an instant liking to it: MONU revitalising cream, the heated mask and now this! When I saw this primer, I was sceptical to trying it because I already love the Benefit one I’m using at the moment. However, I love that this primer is so light and so easy to use! It doesn’t let my skin oil and it has a gorgeous shimmer running through it! It’s quite paste-like in consistency and seems as though it would be quite heavy on the skin but I’m actual fact, feels amazing! It instantly brightens your face and gives you an illuminating glow! I love this already!

20131025-173454.jpg
Katy Perry Killer Queen £29.99 50ml

When I received this perfume sample, the first thing I thought was.. AGAIN? I had already got this in a previous box! And to be honest, I wasn’t that keen on the scent! I love the Katy Perry Purr scent which I own but was a little disappointed with this one! It’s still sweet and has a nice summery scent but it’s not something I would reach for in Autumn I feel! Definitely worth a sniff during the warmer months though!

August Glossy Box

20130815-185903.jpg

This months Glossy Box has arrived and the theme is High Flyers! All products are under 100ml so perfect for flying and they’re all things to give yourself a super quick pep when you’re away and don’t have time for age long beauty treatments!

20130815-190303.jpg

20130815-190446.jpg

Océane Make up Remover Pen

This is basically what every woman thinks about wanting but it hasn’t been invented until NOW! This is a makeup remover pen which basically has liquid inside the pen and you can use the nib to remove makeup precisely! It comes with 3 extra nibs and it really helped remove those mistakes that happen with eyeshadows, liners and lipsticks!

20130815-190455.jpg

Tresemme 60 second treatment shot
I haven’t yet tried this because its not something which appealed to me straight away if I’m honest! I don’t usually use stuff like this is in my hair, simply because I don’t feel I need it! However, this is supposed to make your hair feel silky smooth after using and because it’s 60 second, it’s quick!

20130815-190506.jpg

Emite Makeup Eye lash Curler
I was so surprised to see an eyelash curler in my Glossy Box this month! It even comes with three changeable rubber pads! It feels really sturdy because the mechanism is stiff and the actual curler area is super long so will grab every eye lash and it gives lashes a really right curl!

20130815-190533.jpg

20130815-190538.jpg

20130815-190542.jpg

Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 eyeliner & shadow
When I saw this, I was so happy! Every Jelly Pong Pong item I receive is always really nice! I love this one too! I like the fact that you can use this as an eye shadow and eye liner! This really does create a smooth and even line and when used as an eye shadow, it’s blend able. However, it’s not that easy to smudge and I found that it creased after some time! I think with a good primer and a shadow on the top, it’ll last!

20130815-190605.jpg

Urban Veda Purifying Day Cream
I’ve saved the best until last! I absolutely love this day cream! It has a matte finish, feels cold after applying and is so lightweight! Also, it’s so inexpensive that I’m definitely going to purchase it!

I really liked this month’s Glossy Box! There were 4 full sized products in here and more importantly a product which I am so in love with that I’ve recommended it to two other people already and they’ll be purchasing it too! All the products were really nice to use and fit in the ‘High Flyers’ theme really well!

GlossyBox is £10 a month (£2.95 p&p)

July Miss Glossy Box!

20130722-014425.jpg

So I recently received the Miss Glossy Box for the summer months! For those of you who don’t know, Miss Glossy Box is the second subscription box service that Glossy Box have made which is targeted to a younger audience consisting of drug store and more affordable brands!

20130722-014439.jpg

VO5 Plump It Up Back Comb Spray £3.69
This is a spray designed for those of us who love a good back comb but hate the crispy and stiff feeling that hairspray gives! It smells good and lasts a long time and really does leave a more natural movement to your hair even when you have it back combed!

20130722-014652.jpg

Kiss Nail Wraps in Jewelled Stripes £5.99
I like a good nail wrap every now and again! Although I find some of the patterns very garish (which some would claim this one is too), I think this design is perfect for the target audience of the box! Nail wraps are quick to put on, require no glue and last really long too!

20130722-014706.jpg

Miss Patisserie Bath Fizzy in Starlight £2
When I first got the box, I could smell something incredible coming from the bag! I loved the idea of the bath fizzes in the box because its something I’ve never received in the original Glossy Box! They smell divine and have fun stars in them which float around in your bath!

20130722-014724.jpg

GlossyBox false lashes
These eyelashes are not able to be bought separately however, they are of fairly good quality! Perhaps a bit too full on for the looks that I like to go for, but I like the idea of them! They come with glue too!

20130722-014742.jpg

Beyonce Midnight Heat £29.50
This perfume is a really pungent scent! I wouldn’t say it’s very evening at all! Rather, a musky smell which is bordering on smelling like ‘Grandma trying to be hip’. It’s a shame because I love the original Beyonce Heat which I have a bottle of!

20130722-014825.jpg

All in all, I feel as though this months Miss Glossy Box wasn’t really marketed that well! I think the perfume, lashes and back comb spray were better suited to the original Glossy box, however, there were a lot of full sized products in the box and for the price of the subscription, we all got our money’s worth! I’m just not sure if some of the products were suited well for myself!

October Glossy Box

20121019-171335.jpg

This months GlossyBox was not as good as I hoped it would be! However, a few key pieces made it worth my while :)

20121019-171717.jpg

I already received a Dermologica Fresh Start Kit in a previous GlossyBox and never used it because I didn’t really need such an abrasive treatment for my skin. However, in the past Dermalogica products have improved my skin so I won’t mind trying it in the future. A bit disappointed that this is the second time I’ve received this in a GlossyBox.. Perhaps they were trying to recycle some old products?? Would like to try a NEW product every month though as I thought that was their mission statement.

20121019-171349.jpg

The next product I received was Anti Blemish Skinetica which is a company I have never heard of! It’s a very watery liquid that’s suppose clear and reduce spots! I’m excited to try this and have a lot of people to recommend this to, should it work!

20121019-171746.jpg

The next item is a body scrub by a company I’ve heard so much about called THIS WORKS! Everybody has been going crazy about their skin are products! This is a very grainy and citrus smelling shower scrub which I think would be perfect for scrubbing the area with a lot of dead skin such as heels, elbows and knees!

20121019-172903.jpg

The very last item is probably the best! It’s a lipstick by Yves Rocher is this gorgeous creamy pink odour! It’s quite reminiscent of MAC impassioned but has a slightly darker tone! I think it looks great on the lips, is a great formula and is the perfect colour for a pop of colour in Autumn! This colour is the shade 101 Framboise

20121019-172909.jpg

All in all a fairly average GlossyBox this month! I love the fact they’re supporting Breast Cancer month as well! It’s a cause very close to me and its nice to know some of the money you’re spending, is going to a good charity!
