Ok so today, I was getting ready and had a really nice smokey eye on! A lot of people complimented me on it and I thought I’d recreate it :)
Start off with cleaning your eye kids with a cleanser, bioderma or even a wet wipe! Believe me.. This will help your eye shadow blend and last much longer!
Apply your eye shadow primer. I use a dab of Too Faced Shadow Insurance which I squish between my fingers and apply on each eyelid.
I’m then going to use a blusher.. On my eyes! Nars Orgasm is a great colour for winter on the eyes! Its a pink with a gold shimmer.. rose gold! You can use your finger to blend it or even a flat and stiff brush!
Dupe: Sleek Oh So Special palette has a lovely dupe!
I then clean off the same brush a bit with a wet wipe and dab the brush on the back of my hand to remove excess fluid. I then dip the brush into a medium- dark brown like the one in the same Sleek palette. Most of the sleek palettes have the same colour in them.
I apply this on the outer corner of my eye. I build it up slowly to get my chosen amount of shade. Tip** only follow your eye lid shape/ space. Creating a new crease, over reaching, FAKING will not look very nice and it will be obvious it’s not Yo lid Yo!
Blend each time you add a new layer as it makes it easier to see whether you’ve applied enough. I applied about 3 layers to get this shade..
Whatever product is left on the brush, smudge under your eye.
I like to end by using the same blending brush to apply a little more of the rose gold colour to my lid as it adds a more intense colour and blends nicely.
Mascara those lids up!
And you’re done!!!
