October GlossyBox

This months GlossyBox arrived and I was mega excited to see what Autumn/ Fall products they would have inside!

20131025-173241.jpg
MeMeMe Cherubs Lip and Cheek Tint £5.50 12ml
This cheek tint is something have tried before but finished t and never repurchased! I’m a bit fan if cheek tints because powders and creams don’t last all that well on my face so to have something like a stain is perfect for me! This is lovely and lightweight, it’s also super-blend able and looks natural on the cheeks! As well as the nice and light price tag, it’s a steal and I’m so glad that my GlossyBox had a full size bottle! Woo!

20131025-173256.jpg
Vita Liberata Latte Illuminating Skin Finish £29.95 30ml
When I first saw this, I was sceptical because I hate sachets and packet samples of products! But after trying this yesterday, I can co item, I’m tempted to buy this for summer! I was confused at first as to what it was but it’s like a glowy fake tan with coverage! Imagine applying a darker foundation with shimmer in it, on your skin.. And you have this! It’s lightweight and mousse like which gives the skin an airbrushed finish! I love fake tanning so this is perfect! Probably not the best product for the colder months though, GlossyBox! I think I would have preferred this in summer!

20131025-173305.jpg
Premae Multi- Vit Smoothing Serum £22.50 50ml
When I had received the Harmony balm a few months ago, I had fallen in love with the stuff and was really tempted to buy the full size were it not for the hefty price! So I was glad to see another product from their line! This product claims to be a moisturising serum which doesn’t let you get oily! I out it to the ultimate test of wearing it at night after I’d cleansed (needed the moisture) and when I get the most oily! I woke up to my skin feeling soft and not as oily! It didn’t work miracles but it’s so nice and lightweight on the skin! Perhaps another product I’d have preferred in summer?

20131025-173447.jpg

MONU Illuminating Primer £24.95 50ml
When it comes to MONU products, I love them! Every time I’ve received something in my GlossyBox which is branded MONU, I’ve taken an instant liking to it: MONU revitalising cream, the heated mask and now this! When I saw this primer, I was sceptical to trying it because I already love the Benefit one I’m using at the moment. However, I love that this primer is so light and so easy to use! It doesn’t let my skin oil and it has a gorgeous shimmer running through it! It’s quite paste-like in consistency and seems as though it would be quite heavy on the skin but I’m actual fact, feels amazing! It instantly brightens your face and gives you an illuminating glow! I love this already!

20131025-173454.jpg
Katy Perry Killer Queen £29.99 50ml

When I received this perfume sample, the first thing I thought was.. AGAIN? I had already got this in a previous box! And to be honest, I wasn’t that keen on the scent! I love the Katy Perry Purr scent which I own but was a little disappointed with this one! It’s still sweet and has a nice summery scent but it’s not something I would reach for in Autumn I feel! Definitely worth a sniff during the warmer months though!

KIKO, Maybelline and Essie Make Up haul!

20130711-232529.jpg

I know I’m a little late with my daily blog posts but hopefully, I’ve managed to adjust my routine what with fasting and everything.. So here goes my first post!!

I recently went to Westfield and couldn’t help but stop off at one of my new favourite make up stores: KIKO! They have amazing quality products and for really good value so I couldn’t resist some of their goodies! Fortunately for me, all of the stuff I liked was on offer in their sale section!

The first thing that caught my eye was this ‘Wet and Dry eyeshadow palette in Holi Vibrations’. I bought a few other palettes from this collection which I hauled in a previous blog post and I love them! These colours are perfect for summer! They’re bright but not too bright and the shimmer will look gorgeous in summer along with those lovely pastel colours! They have fall out but nothing major so HAPPY DAYS!

Wet and Dry eyeshadow palette in Holi Vibrations £8.40

Having tried KIKO’s eye products only, I had a little dabble with these gorgeous blushes they have to offer! I had to get 2 because I could choose! They had a few to choose from but I chose the colours that would suit me beat! I like a subtle blush at the moment (a far cry from my previous look) and these have a beautiful finish.. The beige/gold colour on the end is shimmery so creates a lovely highlighted look!

And just as I was leaving the store, these grabbed my attention! When I tested them on my hand, I knew I’d use these constantly! This lovely lips and cheeks product has a lovely texture and is really well pigmented! They haven’t over-done the pigment because its to be used on the cheek too- I suppose they want their consumers to not look like clowns! I love the texture, the smell (like vanilla!). These completely remind me of Sleek Pout Polishes but are so much better.. In my opinion!

Beauty Haul!

The title says it all! There’s a lot. So lets get cracking!

Sally Hanson Miracle Nail Thickener

So this I got, because my nails are EXTREMELY BRITTLE! I’m talking about.. Shampooing my hair and my nail will break off mid-nail! It’s awful! I couldn’t deal with the pain any more and I went to Superdrug in a huff and with my finger in a band aid to hide the shame! Lol! When I saw this I thought it looked brilliant! I’ve used Sally Hanson nail polish before for ridge filling before a good manicure! This says to test it for a month and I did so.. The results weren’t AMAZING and if I’m honest very hard to tell! However, I do feel as though my nails are slightly stronger. They still flake a bit as shown in the image however, generally, they haven’t broken in around a week or two so I’ll keep using it! For the price I paid for it, I’ll be patient!

Sally Hanson Miracle Nail Thickener £9.69

Rimmel London I HEART lasting finish nail varnish in double decker red

The colour of this polish is FANTASTIC! I’ve been into reds a lot this month and I’m LOVING this colour! It’s a complete dupe of a colour I had manicured on me around a month ago! The colour was OPI- thrill of brazil and I think this is exactly the same! The finish is really glossy and it looks beautiful for any time of the year! However, although the polish is shiny, it doesn’t last very long at all! The polish chips in no time, even with a base and top coat to protect it :( for the price though, it’s brilliant!

Ruby Hammer Recommends Beauty On The Go

Some of you may have seen my male up collection where I have TONNES of Ruby hammer recommends products! Ruby Hammer is a make up artist who made her own brand and I LOVE her products! The pigmentation and price are perfect! This palette is definitely perfect for on the go and is such a good size that I think I might take it to France on the weekend! There’s a wide range of eye shadow colours and some lovely coloured lip glosses with a handy mirror too! I would however, like some matte colours because they were all shimmery and I would probably like Ruby Hammer to be available more easily! I don’t see it in every Debenhams store, which isn’t very handy! Plus, I got it at an AMAZING price!

Ruby Hammer Recommends the Professional Beauty Case

This is AMAZING! I not only love the packaging and think the make up train is lovely but the make up inside is gorgeous! I didn’t expect to receive what I did when I ordered online! The train was on sale on the Debenhams site so thought I’d pick it up because I liked the storage solution and obviously I like the make up! The box surprised me completely! The box consists eye shadows, lipstics, lip glosses, nail varnishes, blushes, palettes and a whole manicure and pedicure kit! Everything a girl needs in the morning! The products are lovely and the presentation is too! Lovely!

YSL pure rouge shine in Tuxedo Pink 31

This lipstick was my splurge of the month and I’m not disappointed! It’s the perfect colour to spruce up any outfit and I think it would flatter you, no matter what your skin tone! The lipstick is also long lasting and the colour can be built up or sheer! But the shine of the lipstick is perfect! A good dupe is Mac Impassioned (not as much of a shine)

Sleek Shangri- La palettes in Supreme and Respect

These eye shadow palettes are some of my about items from Sleek Make Up! I think the pigmentation of the eye shadows and the colours are fantastic! I love the way they created two! Choose the respect palette is more warmer tones whilst the supreme palette is blue toned! There are a variety of colours to chit any look you want to go for! I got both because I couldn’t choose! I might be using some of the colours as blushes if I’m not brave enough to wear them on my eyes.. Multi-tasking.. WOOPEEE!!
