Beauty Haul!

The title says it all! There’s a lot. So lets get cracking!

Sally Hanson Miracle Nail Thickener

So this I got, because my nails are EXTREMELY BRITTLE! I’m talking about.. Shampooing my hair and my nail will break off mid-nail! It’s awful! I couldn’t deal with the pain any more and I went to Superdrug in a huff and with my finger in a band aid to hide the shame! Lol! When I saw this I thought it looked brilliant! I’ve used Sally Hanson nail polish before for ridge filling before a good manicure! This says to test it for a month and I did so.. The results weren’t AMAZING and if I’m honest very hard to tell! However, I do feel as though my nails are slightly stronger. They still flake a bit as shown in the image however, generally, they haven’t broken in around a week or two so I’ll keep using it! For the price I paid for it, I’ll be patient!

Rimmel London I HEART lasting finish nail varnish in double decker red

The colour of this polish is FANTASTIC! I’ve been into reds a lot this month and I’m LOVING this colour! It’s a complete dupe of a colour I had manicured on me around a month ago! The colour was OPI- thrill of brazil and I think this is exactly the same! The finish is really glossy and it looks beautiful for any time of the year! However, although the polish is shiny, it doesn’t last very long at all! The polish chips in no time, even with a base and top coat to protect it :( for the price though, it’s brilliant!

Ruby Hammer Recommends Beauty On The Go

Some of you may have seen my male up collection where I have TONNES of Ruby hammer recommends products! Ruby Hammer is a make up artist who made her own brand and I LOVE her products! The pigmentation and price are perfect! This palette is definitely perfect for on the go and is such a good size that I think I might take it to France on the weekend! There’s a wide range of eye shadow colours and some lovely coloured lip glosses with a handy mirror too! I would however, like some matte colours because they were all shimmery and I would probably like Ruby Hammer to be available more easily! I don’t see it in every Debenhams store, which isn’t very handy! Plus, I got it at an AMAZING price!

This is AMAZING! I not only love the packaging and think the make up train is lovely but the make up inside is gorgeous! I didn’t expect to receive what I did when I ordered online! The train was on sale on the Debenhams site so thought I’d pick it up because I liked the storage solution and obviously I like the make up! The box surprised me completely! The box consists eye shadows, lipstics, lip glosses, nail varnishes, blushes, palettes and a whole manicure and pedicure kit! Everything a girl needs in the morning! The products are lovely and the presentation is too! Lovely!

YSL pure rouge shine in Tuxedo Pink 31

This lipstick was my splurge of the month and I’m not disappointed! It’s the perfect colour to spruce up any outfit and I think it would flatter you, no matter what your skin tone! The lipstick is also long lasting and the colour can be built up or sheer! But the shine of the lipstick is perfect! A good dupe is Mac Impassioned (not as much of a shine)

Clothing haul!

I’ve been going shopping CRAZY recently and have picked up a few things that I feel I’ll be able to keep forever with me even when I move to Birmingham!

I went to TK Maxx and found nothing that I liked and again with Dorothy Perkins, felt the same way! The clothes hall section will start from River Island as I found some lovely pieces there today!! I don’t usually shop in the sale rails but today I think I found some lovely bits!!!

Lets begin!

The first thing I noticed was this AMAZING dress! I love the beading on it an the cut is FANTASTIC! I love intricate beading and the style of this dress is beautiful! The colours are y favourite and I loved it as soon as I saw it!

20121005-184351.jpg
I love the dangling detail and the cut at the bottom of the dress!

20121005-184356.jpg
This dress was £80 originally but £30 in the clearance sale in a size 8

The next top is a crop top that caught my eye! To be honest, I actually got this TK wore to bed because I think it’s a lovely material and I like it for the hotter nights! I get BOILING hot at night!

20121005-184439.jpg
I love the studded detailing on the shoulders too!

20121005-184446.jpg
This crop top was £7 in the sale and I think it was originally around £15 in a size 6

The next piece is a speckled too in one of my favourite colours at the moment! I think it looks great with any get up and to be honest, ill be tucking it into a maxi skirt for a pop of colour!

20121005-184519.jpg
I love the speckled detailing and deep wine colour!

20121005-184528.jpg
I got this top for £5 and think it was originally around £15 in a size 6

The next thing is a blazer style jumper which wasn’t in the sale section but I love it! The jumper is a knit material but has 3/4 sleeves in a wet look! The material is super comfy and although not warm, adds a touch of something different to the outfit!

20121005-184535.jpg
The sleeves are a wet look but not a stiff leather.. PERFECT!

20121005-184541.jpg
The blazer was £35 in a size 10

The next buy is my best pick of the bunch! I’ve been looking for a pair of winter boots for a while and when I saw these I HAD to grab them! They were lying in the shelf all by themselves so I picked them up! They are a lovely mid heel boot in a very simple leather! They are SUPER COMFY!

20121005-184547.jpg
I love the shape of them at the front and the ankle length of the boots makes them very functional!

20121005-184556.jpg
These boots were £7.50!!!!!!!!!! Reduced from £35 and they’re in a size 5.

Recently, I had a little accident and was feeling a little bit sorry for myself! (nothing serious.. I think) I decided the best cure was.. SHOPPING!

August favourites

THIS MONTH! I’ve been loving quite a lot of different things! I’ll show you the range.. From make up to jewellery to food to clothes! LET’S BEGIN!

So this bracelet we bought from Primark (me and mum) I think it looks great on! I even wore it kind of layered up with my jumper and thought it looked FAB!
Primark £4

20120902-194506.jpg

These shoes are from River Island! They have a medium platform and a lovely quilted pattern! Not the easiest to walk in though because they’re straight and won’t allow your foot to bend! I love the gold detailing and the front of the shoe is a very flattering shape and they look a bit different to your usual ballet flats.

River Island £25

This perfume was from the Body Shop! It’s in the scent Moroccan Rose and I think it smells divine! Definitely a rosy musk Though so avoid if that not your thing! It’s perfect for the transition from Summer to Autumn/fall. Unfortunately it was limited edition but they still sell the body butter! YUM!

This t shirt from Dorothy Perkins is what I’ve lived in! As soon as it been washed.. I’ve worn it again! It’s so comfortable, has a brilliant Aztec pattern and I got it from the sale section of Dorothy Perkins for £9 from £18! Whenever you go to Dorothy Perkins or when shopping online, their online section is amazing! So don’t miss it!

Dorothy Perkins £9

The Urban Decay Naked 2 palette was a new purchase for me! YES! I’m a late bloomer but I’ve just discovered it and I’m in love! The colours are perfect for day and night! I actually got mine on eBay for £20 as a seller had them on quite cheap however it’s usually £32 so quite pricey! It’s so amazing I’ve got the Naked palette from eBay as well for the same price! The colours in the Naked palette are slightly more neutral and brown compared to the second so definitely up my street!

20120902-195528.jpg
Naked Palette 2 £36

The stay matte powder from Rimmel London is fantastic! I’ve been getting quite oily skin recently so though I’d keep it in my bag and since doing so, can’t live without it! I recently bought the Dior powder too but am waiting until the Rimmel one finishes until I use the Dior! It’s lightweight, easy to use and comes in translucent! Woo!

Rimmel London stay matte powder (translucent 001) £3.99

Some people are frightened to death of it but curling your eye lashe is one of the most fundamental parts of doing your make up! It opens the eyes, makes them look more feminine and is a great step before applying mascara to get maximum results! I’ve got quite Kim lashes but their limo and need curl so I curl my lashes effort and after applying mascara (once its dry) and this helps to ensure my lashes are ready for the beautiful day ahead! I’ve had my Tweezerman ones since I was 11 (which is 9 years) and they’ve never caused me any problems! I’ve not had to change the rubber once in that whole time!

20120902-195009.jpg
Tweezerman eye lash curlers £15

I’ve been loving Tea recently! I’ve needed to relax and there’s nothing better than a cup of tea to relax! Proper British style! However, to give it a bit of twist, try adding 5/6 cardamom seeds in your tea for a different flavour! Like my mug?

20120902-195131.jpg

I LOVE CHOCOLATE! Enough said!
