I had seen an image of a pink smokey a while ago and it looked AMAZING! I tried to follow it step by step and although I loved it.. It took me about half an hour to fourth five minutes to complete the whole look! So I made a variation which could be worn day to day.
This is the original make up look
This is my take on it that took far too long!
And this is the look I’ll be showing you today!
Grab your Soap and Glory Kick Ass Concealer in medium and conceal what you need to..
And you’ll end up fresh faced like this..
You then want to apply your foundation or whatever you like to use daily. I’m using L’oreal Nude Magique BB cream in light..
I’m then using Too Faced shadow insurance on my lids..
We’ll be using the Sleek Oh So Special palette for the whole look today..
So on a fluffy flat too eye shadow brush I’m using this pink colour on my crease and blending it up and not letting it touch my lid..
You then want to dab a pointed stubby brush in this medium brown colour and apply on the outer corner and crease of your lid..
So you’ll end up with a nicely defined outer corner like this.. You want to blend this into the pink too..
Using my Maybelline Gel Eyeliner, I’m going to softly line my top lash line with a small wing on the end. I like to lightly pull my eye lid so I get a clean line..
Powder your face with the translucent powder that comes in the Kick Ass Concealer kit..
And you want to curl and add your Soap and Glory Thick and Fast mascara using the end of the brush to the coat the corner lashes..
Use your clear mascara to tame those wild brows!
And it’s time to add light into the face using L’oreal Lumi Magique primer.. You only need a small amount like this..
You want to grab your Body Shop Lip and Cheek stain and apply this on your lips and cheeks and just add some lip balm like the Born Lippy Watermelon scented one!
Curl your lashes once more, now they’re dry to give them an extra boost..
And this is the finished look..
